Advocating for Social Justice and Equality
in the County of Simcoe
Our Mission
Empowering Women
The VanDyck Foundation is dedicated to advocating for social justice, human rights, and equality for vulnerable women in the County of Simcoe of the Province of Ontario. We strive to create a more just and equitable society by addressing systemic issues and empowering vulnerable women to enforce their human rights.

Our Focus Areas
Social Housing
Income Supports
Policy and Legal Advocacy
Household Food Security
Mental Health Awareness
The VanDyck Foundation exists because current housing policies do not work for vulnerable women.
Canada needs a regulatory body that provides licensing to social housing services providers who deliver subsidized housing programs, especially in human and sex-trafficking hot spots such as the County of Simcoe.
We need to ensure accountability and transparency with Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) rental calculations and 'pay direct' payments made to social housing services providers on behalf of beneficiaries, especially when it comes to the Barrie Municipal Non-Profit Housing Corporation (BMNPHC), also known as Barrie Housing.

"Fighting against oppression and corruption so we can have better lives."
